Solution
What we built.
- Built a women-first Arabic learning product where every learner is matched with a verified Ustadha - a qualified female teacher who reviews her progress every week
- Engineered an AI tutor that adapts pace, difficulty and focus in real time, so lessons stay hard enough to matter and easy enough to finish
- Designed six distinct AI modes - teach, drill, sentence correction, saved-word review, session warm-up and homework support - each scoped to language help, never religious rulings
- Shipped structured learning paths from zero: the alphabet, letter shapes, sun and moon letters, reading and Qur'anic vocabulary
- Delivered pronunciation practice with live speech feedback so learners hear and fix their own recitation
- Built the teacher side: session scheduling, homework assignment, progress review and direct messaging with each student
- Launched native iOS and Android apps plus a multilingual marketing site, with biometric lock and gentle opt-in notifications for privacy-conscious users
Impact
Maryam turned 'I've tried apps and given up' into steady weekly progress. Learners get an AI tutor available at 6am and a real female teacher who knows their name - the combination neither apps nor classes could offer on their own.
