Case study
Bunyod by Startup Garage - National Entrepreneurship Platform for Young Uzbeks
Uzbekistan has no shortage of young people with business ideas - it has a shortage of paths from idea to first customer. Entrepreneurship training was scattered across paid courses, one-off bootcamps in Tashkent and theory with no local context. A student in a regional city had no structured way to validate an idea, reach a mentor or find a real customer - and no way to prove what she had learned.

Challenge
What the founders faced.
Solution
What we built.
- Built Bunyod as a free nationwide founder platform - the core program is fully free, because the goal is entrepreneurial culture, not revenue
- Designed a six-stage founder path - Idea, Customer, Product, Sales, Pitch, Growth - where every stage builds on the one before it instead of scattered lessons
- Shipped 24 modules and 120+ short video lessons covering validation through raising a first investor cheque, all drawn from real Uzbek founder experience
- Engineered Olim, a 24/7 AI mentor grounded in 240+ Uzbek startup case studies, answering in Uzbek with local market context
- Built a project workspace where founders complete 11 sections - problem, target customer, solution, business model, first 10 customers, revenue model and more - with AI assistance and a live founder-readiness score
- Delivered an automatic pitch generator that turns the completed workspace into an investor-ready pitch
- Launched sponsored weekly founder challenges with real prizes, plus city cohorts, XP, levels, streaks and leaderboards
- Shipped verified certificates for each module for resumes and LinkedIn, and native mobile apps alongside the web platform
